Shanghai-Xi’an-Guilin 7 Days Tour

Day 1 Shanghai Arrival Transfer

On arrival, CCTW guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you outside the luggage lobby.

You will be transferred to the well-located Shanghai Broadway Mansions Hotel ☆☆☆☆ for a three-night stay on a room and breakfast basis.

The rest of the day is free for you to relax.

Day 2 Shanghai

Take a private tour to visit the Jade Buddha Temple- where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha is treasured, and the Yu Garden- a classical garden in downtown Shanghai, boasts a history over 400 years. Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream in the garden is expressing the quintessence of South China landscape design from Ming and Qing Dynasty.

In the afternoon, you will go to the Shanghai Museum-located in the center of Shanghai in People's Square; It is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. The exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolizes the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land.

And then take a walk along the famous waterfront-Bund-to fully appreciate this diverse city.

Day 3 Shanghai

Day 4 Shanghai to Xi'an

Transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Xi'an.

Arrive in Xi'an and transfer to the Grand New World Hotel Xi'an ☆☆☆☆.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.

Day 5  Xi'an to Guilin

Enjoy a full day sightseeing, including:
a. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum-the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century and the eighth wonder of the world.

b. The Banpo Museum- the site of a typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao Culture. The history of the museum can be dated back 6000 years.

c. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda- one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. The temple was built about 648 AD by the order of Emperor Gao Zong, the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty.

Transfer to the airport for a late afternoon flight to Guilin.
Transfer to the Guilin Hotel ☆☆☆☆.

Day 6  Guilin

Today you will to the Elephant Trunk Hill, the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Stars Park, the Fubo Hill and the Solitary Beauty Peak.

Elephant Trunk Hill- the shape of the hill is just like a huge elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk, so it is called Elephant Trunk Hill.

Reed Flute Cave- illuminated by colored lighting, the fantastic spectacle is found in many variations along this 240-meter-long cave. Walking through the serried stone pillars, tourists feast their eyes on changing spots, feeling they are in a paradise where the Gods live.

Seven Stars Park- the park is endowed with elegant mountains, clear water, miraculous stone forest, deep and serene valleys, plentiful animals and plants and valued cultural relics.

Fubo Hill- natural scenery of rocks and stalactites as well as artificial cloister and pavilions compose the fantastic and unique sight of the hill. The Viewing Platform on the stairway is an ideal spot for taking in the panorama of Guilin.

Solitary Beauty Peak- towering from the ground with an elevation of 216 meters, it is reputed as \"Sky-Supporting Pillar in the South\". During the Southern Dynasty (420-589), some 1500 years ago, Yan Yanzhi, governor of Guilin, wrote the line: \"none can surpass this solitary peak in beauty.\" hence the name Solitary Beauty Peak.

Day 7 Guilin Departure Transfer

Transfer to the pier and take the Li River Cruise.

Li River Cruise-gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Water buffalo patrol the fields, peasants reap rice paddies, school kids and fisherman float by on bamboo rafts. With its breathtaking scenery and taste of a life far removed from the concrete metropolis, the scenery along the Li River become one of China's top tourist destinations.

Transfer to the airport for your homeward flight. End of service.
